The new Fiscalization Act was published on 13.6.2025 in the Official Gazette no. 89/25.
The Act replaces the Cash Transaction Fiscalization Act, and prescribes a unique tax and legal framework for:
- fiscalization of invoices in final consumption (B2C)
- issuance and fiscalization of electronic invoices (eInvoice) between taxpayers (B2B)
- fiscalization of eInvoices between taxpayers and public institutions (B2G)
The Fiscalization Act enters into force on 1.9.2025.
